Safeguarding Policy and Procedures for Children in Sports

This document describes the safeguarding and protection policy and procedures for the safety and protection of children in sport. The document was developed by the Terre des hommes Foundation, based on the International Standards for Children in Sport (created by the International Children in Sport Working Group), the standards of the International Coalition Keeping Children Safe and based on the Toolkit on Child Safety and Protection developed by UEFA and Terre des hommes.

The document was also adapted to the Romanian national legislation, and in its drafting, the support of the project partners was essential - the National Authority for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Children and Adoptions (ANDPDCA), the Romanian Football Federation, and the Romanian Gymnastics Federation.
