Hello! If you are 12-16 years old, have time and interest to contribute to making a difference for children in your community and in Europe together with other children, this chance is for you! We invite you to join the International Child Advisory Board supported by Terre des hommes (Tdh) and Arsis NISMA organisations team! This is because Tdh and Arsis NISMA work together on the project that is called Unity in Care. With this project, adults collaborate with children and parents/caregivers in Albania, Greece, Romania and Kosovo. They invite children to participate in different recreational activities to support them feeling well and safe and to realize different initiatives led by children themselves!
The International Child Advisory Board is an exciting opportunity for you to make opportunities for children more friendly, useful and interesting, in your community and beyond! By coming together, exchanging ideas and designing activities with other children, your collective voices on the issues important to you and other children will be heard!
If it is about you:
You are between 12-16 years
You can communicate in English with your peers (but no need to worry, if you don’t! we will try to find a solution together!)
You have the time to participate in 8 online meetings of the Child Advisory Board in the course of 2025/2026
You are eager to collaborate with other children from Albania, Greece, Romania and Kosovo, learn from and get inspired by each other
You are enthusiastic about communicating the issues of importance to you and other children within your community and beyond
You are open to offer your ideas, knowledge and skills for the wellbeing of children and promoting children’s rights
If you are willing to:
Engage in co-designing child-friendly services and activities;
Develop new skills;
Make a positive contribution to the wellbeing of children in your country and beyond
Make new friendships with your peers from different countries and have a joyful time with other children all throughout!
Then we are looking forward to hearing from you and receiving your Online Application Form! Once we receive your Application Form, we will be happy to invite you for a friendly discussion of around 30 minutes. This will allow us to get each other a bit better, and to learn about your expectations and interests!
